Fire show for the Saint patron Jacopo in Pistoia
Our team Lumen Invoco performed in its complete group of artists to offer the city of Pistoia a unique entertainment show. Nine artists specialized in the realization of shows in the square have staged incredibly suggestive effects.
The show for Saint Jacopo in piazza del Duomo
The festival of Saint Jacopo, July 25th, is a special moment for Pistoia. The day is full of events and attracts spectators of all ages in the main square. The initiatives on the occasion of the patron saint are different, including the procession of figures that parades through the city center.
Just before our fire and led show, the Corteo of the Rioni (a sort of procession) has landed in the beautiful picture of Piazza del Duomo, under the windows of Palazzo di Giano. In the square, there were lots of people ready to see the exhibition of the traditional colors of Cervo Bianco, Leon d’Oro, Grifone, and Drago.
Fire and led show to surprise the public
At the end of the procession, the bishop of Pistoia Fausto Tardelli blessed the horses of the four neighborhoods. Meanwhile, the flag-wavers of the Compagnia dell’Orso warmed the public waiting for the performance of our artists. The square was full of the public, and to attend the performance there were not only citizens of Pistoia but also tourists.
Our artists waited with great emotion their turn because the city committee of Pistoia had great expectations about the show. The fire techniques and the LED show would replace the usual Giostra dell’Orso, which was not possible because of the Covid.
Fireworks to conclude the celebration of the saint
The public showed participation from the beginning, and during the choreographies, the wonder increased. There was lots of applause thanks to the show we created with fire, polka dots, and sparkling fireworks of cold fires.
Our fireworks were the end of the show and the patron celebrations. After the entertainment show, many people asked us when it would be possible to see each other life. It was a great honor for us and we thank Pistoia for the wonderful welcome.
